Message	Shipping and handling refers to the time/materials required to send you your package. Means, someone spent time to find your product, box it, tape it, and put it out for UPS/FEDEX/USPS for shipping. The lowest rates for UPS/FEDEX is around $6 ground for even the smallest packages that weigh 1lb. Figure in the cost of the box and whatever else you've got $8 dollars in shipping/handling. Of course they could also send it via USPS for around a buck w/ a padded envelope (40 cents), but that wouldn't make sense.
